Heating is essential on all programmes of work especially construction projects where heat supply is critical to a project’s operation. Should heat supply be cut off or compromised, it can run the risk of causing huge project delays which lead to unforeseen and added costs.
The Objective
Ideal Heat Solutions was selected for this project due to its existing relationship with the client. Continually impressed with Ideal Heat’s service, this project was the fourth job that Ideal Heat had undertaken for this unique customer.
What’s more, the client’s plant is also state-of-the-art and brand new. As an expert in temporary boiler installations, Ideal Heat knows and understands the requirements of such projects and sites – a benefit that this client values highly.
The client contacted Ideal Heat Solutions to request a survey of the site in anticipation of a temporary boiler installation. After speaking to the client, Ideal Heat Solutions’ team was able to work with them to outline where the temporary boiler connections could be routed so that the temporary boiler could be installed efficiently. The best route also meant that a bridging structure would be needed and the entrance to the connection points was near to an important access area.
For this project Ideal Heat Solutions supplied its powerful 500kW temporary boiler, 4500ltr fuel tank and 120m x 50mm of heating hose. Scaffolding was also required on this project to enable access.
An unbeatable temporary boiler with 92% fuel efficiency rating, the 500kW containerised boiler is a reliable solution that met the needs of this project. Robust and easy-to-install, the temporary boiler has in-built IQ Vision monitoring technology so the engineers can ensure it performs as intended whilst active. This was a huge benefit on this project as it mitigated the likelihood of disruption to the project and extra costs to the client.
